Start by exploring our artists’ portfolios and selecting the one whose style best fits your idea.
When you’re ready, submit your request form with as much detail as possible, including:

• tattoo idea & subject matter

• preferred style

• size

• placement

• reference photos

• black & grey or color

• any important details for your artist

The more information you include, the better! This gives your artist a clear direction and allows them to focus on creating a design that fits you and your vision.

Your form is sent directly to the artist so they can review the details.

Once accepted, we’ll:

• discuss pricing

• choose an appointment date

• collect your deposit to secure the booking

All tattoos at Second Wind are drawn specifically for your body and your appointment time, so designs are not sent in advance.

Some clients want a fully custom piece, while others prefer something very close to their reference image or a small, simple design. In every case, your artist redraws and sizes the tattoo to fit your body and placement — this ensures the best possible result and makes the tattoo uniquely yours.

Your artist will have your design ready for you the day of your appointment. At that time, you’ll review it together and request any small adjustments if needed.

For larger or highly detailed pieces, a separate consultation may be scheduled.

Please arrive:

• well rested

• hydrated

• having eaten a good meal

Feel free to bring:

• water or a drink

• a small snack for longer sessions

• headphones or something to keep you comfortable

When you arrive:

✔ we’ll review the design together
✔ confirm the size and placement
✔ make any final tweaks if needed
✔ apply the stencil
✔ begin your tattoo

We take our time during this part to make sure everything is exactly how you want it before tattooing starts.

Once your tattoo is finished:

• your artist will apply a bandage

• you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions

• we’re always here if you have healing questions
