Specializing in custom work with 18+ years of experience

Dave started out in graphic design but quickly realized he wanted to create art with his hands, not just on a screen. In 2007, he entered work into the Three Rivers Arts Festival and began receiving requests for custom tattoo designs.

Having been tattooed since he turned 18 — and already deeply in love with the art form — that experience pushed him to begin an apprenticeship. A year later, he officially started tattooing.

Over the years, Dave has worked in a wide range of styles, including Traditional Japanese, Neo-Traditional, Photorealism, Black & Grey, and pieces inspired by gaming and nerd culture.

In June 2025, Dave opened Second Wind Tattoos in Cranberry Township with his wife, Kamie. Having both lived in the area for more than 30 years, opening a family-owned shop in the community they call home meant a lot to them. His goal is to bring more art into people’s lives and give back to the community that has supported them and their family.

Dave is so grateful for both longtime clients and new faces, and he loves helping people turn their ideas into meaningful, lasting art.
